French Minister Under Fire

A former French minister Georges Tron, has come under fire from all quarters from the municipal staff at the city office where the minister was a major. The latest lawsuit against a French politician, the minister was arrested on the 20^th following these charges. Some bureaucrats believe they are beyond reproach. They are mistaken.

Minister Cries Foul

The minister has made an allegation against the opposition saying that they were trying to gain momentum in the wake of the allegations against IMF chief Kahn. The minister had earlier resigned following the arrest of the IMF chief and was arrested and taken in for questioning yesterday. The former minister has been charged by sexual harassment lawyers of the two women who claim that the minister had harassed them from 2007 to 2010. The minister was currently serving as a civil minister and had submitted his resignation in May of 2011 as the charges came up against him.

Adults Acting like Children

Sexual harassment lawyers from different parts of the world have been fighting the good fight for years. Sometimes they are politically correct which undermines the first amendment and sometimes their sensitivities are just annoying and horrendously damaging. But sometimes they are instrumental in rooting out despicable behavior and this seems to the case here. The blatant rise in the cases of sexual harassment has brought up many activist groups to support women. Sexual harassment lawyers are on the prowl in great numbers now since there is a lot of money to be made in this racket! In many cases, hidden settlements are accepted by both parties since both sides often times want to get this past them. Occasionally, the situation becomes public fodder.

The Future Beckons

The sexual harassment lawyers have managed to bring up many a storm in different parts of the world and this recent French uprising should also be one to watch as further developments in two high profile cases are awaited.
